“淺紅”是在視窗（Windows）上運行的中國象棋免費軟件。如要安裝，請下載〝淺紅”程式，並跟據它的指示來安裝。此外，還可以安裝人工智能插件(AI plugin)。
為了安裝淺紅繁體中文版，請在安裝程序的第一頁上選擇 "Chinese (Traditional)"，如以下的圖像:
人工智能插件（AI plugin）
雖然“淺紅”的本身棋力很弱，但是你可以安裝下列的插件程式來增強“淺紅”的棋力。（歡迎各位提供新的插件，如要編寫新的插件，請參照插件詳述來編寫插件。
安裝人工智能插件的方法：首先關閉“淺紅”，然後安裝插件程式。下次運行〝淺紅”時，你就能在「遊戲設定」當中的[Choose AI]來選擇插件。
